Morty Comix # 2927

Morty Comix # 2927 created Sept. 1, 2018. The good, the bad, and the clownish.

Morty Comix # 2925

Morty Comix # 2925 drawn Aug. 31, 2018.  I have always loved cats. Between Feb. 2017 and Sept 2018 I had to put down all four of my beloved feline pals that lived me as a unit for a decade. Around this time I learned the last one was nearing the end. The cover was a cat/human relationship illustration.

Morty Comix # 2924

Morty Comix # 2924 drawn Aug. 30, 2018. The character's expression on page 3 is sort of a self-portrait, but then I suppose all of them are. I don't draw real people. All of these faces invent themselves and emerge as I draw. I am not channeling from another source or exploring the deeper meaning of the psyche. I just draw. It is pretty simple.

Morty Comix # 2923

Morty Comix # 2923 drawn Aug. 29, 2018. Yes, I have a "thing" about existential clowns and animals smoking cigarettes. Fortunately I am a very shallow person and have never taken the trouble to explore these themes. Other artists might be self-tortured, but I am not one of them. I just draw.

Morty Comix # 2922

Morty Comix # 2922 created as a tiny microcomic Aug. 28, 2018 measuring only 6 x 6 cm.

Morty Comix # 2921

Morty Comix # 2921 drawn Aug. 28, 2018. Somehow I had a bunch of adhesive letters of the alphabet in my possession and went hog wild.

Morty Comix # 2914

Morty Comix # 2914  created Aug. 23, 2018.  We flatter ourselves if we think the natural distance between canines and humans in terms of behavior and pack mentality is as distant as we would like to believe.
